Day 1: To Istanbul

Embark on your journey as you board a flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our dedicated driver / representative will warmly welcome you and provide a private transfer to your Istanbul hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - 3: Istanbul

Day 4: Istanbul to Cappadocia

Cappadocia Depart from your Istanbul hotel as we transfer you to Istanbul airport. Fly to Cappadocia, where our local driver (representative) will greet you at Kayseri or Nevsehir airport. Enjoy a private transfer to your Cappadocia hotel.

Day 5: Cappadocia Fairy Chimneys & Göreme Tour

After breakfast our tour guide will pick you up around 9 am from your hotel for a full day small group tour which includes a visit to the Devrent Valley to see the unique ‘fairy chimneys’ and Pashabagi to see the fascinating mushroom shaped Pinnacles. After lunch at Avanos visit the ancient rock-cut churches and Christian settlements of the Göreme Open Air Museum before finally heading to see the natural castle of Üçhisar. Drop off at your hotel at approximately 17:00pm.

Day 6: Rose Valley and Kaymakli Underground City Tour

After breakfast our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel around 9 am. You will enjoy another full day small group tour that includes a visit to the Red Valley to explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike 5km through the Gulludere Valley. Visit Cavusin with its famous houses and churches of the Christian clergymen. After lunch visit Pigeon Valley and then the underground city of Kaymakli, which was home to the early Christians, and finish the day with a visit to the natural castle of Ortahisar. Drop off at your hotel at approximately 17:00pm.

Day 6: Ilhara Valley and Derinkuyu Underground City Tour

After breakfast our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel around 9 am and enjoy a third small group tour, this time visiting the huge underground city of Derinkuyu carved out of the rock by the early Christians, continuing to the beautiful Ihlara Valley where you will hike 4km through the valley exploring the hidden churches. After lunch finish with a visit to the Selime Monastery, than return to your hotel at approximately 17:00pm.

Day 6: Cappadocia to your chosen coastal resort

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel and private transfer to the Cappadocia airport for flying via Istanbul to Dalaman (your luggage will go directly to your final destination, you will be transferred by your hand luggage to another airplane in Istanbul). On arrivall you will be met by our representative and private transfer to your chosen Gulet Cruise. Please note if you choose to join a Greek island gulet cruise, then you will be flying to Bodrum airport via Istanbul and your luggage arrangments will be the same as for Dalaman as explained above.

Day 9 - 14: On board an authentic gulet cruise

During your time on board an authentic gulet cruise along the Turkish Coast, you'll have the opportunity to relax and soak in the beauty of the Mediterranean. Gulets are traditional wooden sailing vessels, known for their charming and attractive style. These boats come in various sizes, typically featuring between 6 to 10 cabins to accommodate passengers.

For this particular itinerary, we've selected the popular Gulet Syhan Cann, which operates on a full-board (FB) basis. This means that your package includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner on board. Keep in mind that the specific itinerary may vary depending on the week you choose to travel. Be sure to ask for the exact route and destinations you'll be visiting during your cruise.

Day 15: Departure back home

On Day 15, it will be time to bid farewell to your gulet cruise adventure. We will will arrange a private transfer for you from the gulet to the airport. From there, you will catch your flight back home, bringing your memorable Turkish Coast experience to a close.

Cappadocia

Cappadocia’s landscape was formed around 30 million years ago when volcanic activity left the region blanketed with ash. The ash solidified into what is known as ‘volcanic tuff’, this is an easily eroded material and as it wore away over many years, it left the distinctive rock formations seen in Cappadocia today.

Hot-air Balloon Tours

Cappadocia is known around the world as one of the best places to fly with hot-air balloons. The spectacular surrealistic landscape, combined with excellent flying conditions, allows the balloons to gently drift over and between fairy chimneys and pigeon houses hewn from the unique rock formations, through beautiful orchards and vineyards and impressive valleys with distinctive rock formations and features – and then float up over rippled ravines for breath-taking views across the region.
