The MDC Cave Hotel is nestled in the picturesque background of Urgup, Cappadocia and features an impeccable blend of luxury, beauty, style and heritage. The MDC Cave Hotel is located in a quiet and charming area within walking distance to the Urgup town centre and is surrounded by the extraordinary beauty and relaxing nature of the valleys and the unique fairy chimneys - a stunning location which makes the MDC Cave Hotel a special place to stay in Cappadocia.
Each room is designed to pamper and provides the ultimate in comfort. The fine details have been passionately chosen and each room deserves a visit. The MDC Cave Hotel's rooms were once private homes that have been restored under the guidance of UNESCO Heritage controls.

All 46 rooms at MDC are different in size and design; each has its own little story. Rooms could at one time have been kitchens, sleeping areas or stables. They mix valuable antiques and original artworks to create a traditional authentic style with an unexpected modern twist.

On the top floor, there is also a delightful terrace available for the use of guests, from where you can enjoy the wonderful view. Buffet breakfast is served in the garden restaurant and also outside on our patio during the summer months.

MDC hotel has added brand new heated outdoor swimming pool in late 2022.

The name Cappadocia is thought to mean ‘land of beautiful horses’ and in Roman times the brood mares from Cappadocia were very highly prized indeed.

The region of Cappadocia is visually stunning; its haunting landscape is best seen from the air. We highly recommend you take a hot air balloon ride during your stay; it is the most popular way to enjoy the amazing scenery. Eerily resembling a moonscape, soft volcanic rock has sculpted caves, clefts and the magical ‘fairy chimneys’.

Cappadocia is known around the world as one of the best places to fly with hot-air balloons. The spectacular surrealistic landscape, combined with excellent flying conditions, allows the balloons to gently drift over and between fairy chimneys and pigeon houses hewn from the unique rock formations, through beautiful orchards and vineyards and impressive valleys with distinctive rock formations and features – and then float up over rippled ravines for breath-taking views across the region.

The MDC Cave hotel in Cappadocia was truly amazing. For some reason we were upgraded to a King size suite which we weren't going to complain about as the room was spectacular. Despite also some confusion over the balloon trip when we first arrived this was delayed for a day but we got to go on it and will never forget the experience. The daily excursions too were just out of this world and made all the more special by our guide. I would like to say though, the MDC Cave hotel has the most shambolic food ordering system I'm afraid which most people complained about. Ordering your food on a app doesn't work at all so I wouldn't recommend that part to anyone. Andrew and June Welch - 24 Oct 2022

"A week's trip on Perla del Mar captained by Mustafa, with chef Dohan, and crew Cem, Emre and Meric turned out to be the best family holiday we had ever booked. Akin's recommendation of the boat was spot on. Dohan's menu and cooking was absolutely excellent. The crew went out of their way to assist us at every opportunity and their care and attention to the children on the trip was exemplary. There wasn't a single fault that on the whole trip, the transfers worked perfectly, the crew were there to greet us at Marmaris and led us through the alleys to the waterside where the amazing boat in front of us was to be ours for a week. We were all taken aback and realised that Mum's mad dream was coming to fruition. A holiday found by google, sold to us by Akin who took the trouble to explain everything turned out to be beyond the dreams of all of us. Canoeing in quiet coves, swimming and snorkelling to our hearts content then served with drinks and snacks before amazing meals and enjoying the trips between coves became the order of each day. " We went to Diamond Star experience because they offer multi-centre holidays and had good ratings. We were in no way disappointed with what was organised. We said that we wanted a few days in Athens and then a week on a relatively quiet island. Akin made a proposal (Athens then Naxos) and then, when we agreed, organised everything. The Athens hotel was central and accessible to the main sites and to restaurants, and was of very good quality. The choice of Naxos for the island was equally good and we stayed in an excellent three star hotel on the edge of the town within easy reach of the beach and restaurants. All transfers were efficiently organised and even when there was a transport hiccup (our fault!) there was a phone call from the Athens back-up team within the hour to find out what had happened.
