The island is ideal for hiking, with a network of trails that lead through olive groves, pine forests, and along coastal paths. One of the most scenic routes is the trail from Skopelos Town to the Monastery of Agios Riginos.

Skopelos is also famous for its traditional architecture and cultural heritage. The island has preserved its unique character, with charming villages such as Glossa, where you can experience authentic Greek island life.

Connections  

There are regular ferry services between Skopelos and the ports of Volos, Agios Konstantinos, and Thessaloniki on the mainland, as well as connections to the neighboring islands of Skiathos and Alonissos. During the summer months, additional routes operate, including connections to the port of Mantoudi in Evia. Skopelos is also accessible via flights to the nearby Skiathos Island National Airport (JSI), with transfers available by ferry or boat from Skiathos to Skopelos.
