Ios Greece is the number one party island in the Mediterranean sea, at least during the high season of July and August. But it also offers beautiful scenery and magnificent views so come to Ios during the off season for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. There is something for everyone on Ios island, dance the night away in the clubs and bars or relax and watch the beautiful sunset from some of the amazing locations on the island.

Ios is easy to reach by ferry from Athens and more specifically, the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. It is also connected to many other islands, including Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros and Crete, creating an opportunity for island hopping you simply can't miss! The closest international airport is on Santorini island.

Its ideal location in the heart of the Aegean sea may be enough to convince you of its beauty, but Ios has become a summertime favorite for several reasons other than its breath-taking landscape!

There are many different beaches on Ios with Mylopotas beach being the most popular one of them all. Many of the beaches are secluded so you can have the whole beach to yourself. Mylopotas offers both sunbeds for rent and lots of unexploited sand to lay your towel on for free.
