This multi-centre Moroccan holiday blends spectacular mountain landscapes, the cultural energy of Marrakech, and the refreshing coastal charm of Agadir or Essaouira. From Berber villages and ancient kasbahs to bustling souks and golden beaches, this itinerary reveals the very best of Morocco at a relaxed pace.

Itinerary

Day 1: UK to the High Atlas Mountains

Fly directly to Marrakech and enjoy a private transfer to the scenic High Atlas Mountains. Check in to your chosen hotel and settle in for a peaceful first night surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.

Days 2–3: High Atlas Mountains – Explore & Unwind

Spend two days relaxing or discovering the region on optional guided rambles. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, these 5½-hour walks are suitable for anyone reasonably active and offer an authentic insight into Berber life. Visit traditional villages, ancient strongholds, salt-mining sites and olive-pressing houses while enjoying sweeping mountain views.

Day 4: Transfer to Marrakech

After breakfast, travel by private vehicle to Marrakech, just an hour away. Enjoy the changing scenery as you descend from the mountains into the city. Check in to your chosen hotel for your stay in Morocco’s most vibrant destination.

Days 5–6: Marrakech – Culture & Colour

Make the most of Marrakech with optional guided tours or independent exploration. Highlights include the Koutoubia Minaret, Menara Gardens, Saadien Tombs, Badii Palace, and the famous souks of the old medina. Finish your day at the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square, filled with performers, stalls and traditional cafés. Stay two nights in Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech to Agadir or Essaouira

After breakfast, your private transfer will take you from Marrakech to your chosen coastal destination. Settle into your beachfront hotel in Agadir or your charming riad by the sea in Essaouira and enjoy the start of your coastal escape.

Days 8–10: Coastal Relaxation

Spend your days unwinding on Morocco’s beautiful Atlantic coast. In Agadir, enjoy long stretches of golden sand, gentle waves, and optional excursions to nearby mountain villages. Camel or horseback rides along the beach add a touch of adventure.
If staying in Essaouira, relax on vast sandy beaches, explore the enchanting medina, browse local craft stalls, and admire the views from the old fortress walls overlooking the ocean.

Day 11: Homeward Bound

Your Moroccan adventure comes to an end with a private transfer to the nearest international airport.
Guests in Agadir benefit from a direct departure airport, while those in Essaouira will have a comfortable transfer to either Marrakech or Agadir Airport.

Ksar Anika - Riad hotel 4 - Bed & Breakfast*

This exceptional riad offers the highest of standards in a quiet spot, just a short walk from Jemaa el Fna. The name ‘Ksar Anika’ means ‘Beautiful Little Palace’ and this charming riad, certainly lives up to its name. Its English/ Kuwaiti owners have lavished care and attention upon it, using gold- and silver-leaf in the furnishings to create a unique and opulent look. No two rooms look the same, and each has its own character, some with four-poster beds, others with fireplaces and cosy corners. Many of the rooms open out on to courtyards or on to the pool.

Riad Mimouna 4 - Bed & Breakfast - Essaouira*

This historic riad began life as a windmill, set on the old sea wall in the heart of the bustling medina. The windmill was built in 1896 and was the first to be built in the port of Essaouira. Its unique setting makes it the only riad to offer a seafront location, with beautiful sea views. Its panoramic terrace is the perfect place from which to survey the coast and enjoy the fresh sea air, whilst making the most of the sunshine.

Marrakech

Marrakech is often the first port of call for any visitor to Morocco, its magnificent architecture off-set by the stunning backdrop of the snow-capped High Atlas Mountains. It is a great place to soak up the atmosphere of the country, bright colours, fragrant spices, the hustle and bustle of everyday life all combining to form a veritable symphony for the senses.

Agadir

A holiday in Agadir is all about the beach – an astonishing 8km long stretch of fine, golden sand. With its wide palm-lined streets and laid-back beachfront bars and cafes, which stretch along the seafront promenade, Holidays to Agadir are enjoyed in one of Morocco’s most modern resorts. More reminiscent of the south of France, than traditional Morocco, it is a favourite with families and caters for guests of all ages.

High Atlas Mountains

The High Atlas Mountains form the backdrop to Marrakech, some 40 miles away by road – and a world away in ambience. A holiday here is the perfect antidote to city life and to the fast pace of 21st century living. Many choose to spend their time simply relaxing by the pool with a good book, surrounded by beautiful scenery, others prefer to be out and about rambling through the countryside and enjoying long walks through the Ouirgane Valley.

"A week's trip on Perla del Mar captained by Mustafa, with chef Dohan, and crew Cem, Emre and Meric turned out to be the best family holiday we had ever booked. Akin's recommendation of the boat was spot on. Dohan's menu and cooking was absolutely excellent. The crew went out of their way to assist us at every opportunity and their care and attention to the children on the trip was exemplary. There wasn't a single fault that on the whole trip, the transfers worked perfectly, the crew were there to greet us at Marmaris and led us through the alleys to the waterside where the amazing boat in front of us was to be ours for a week. We were all taken aback and realised that Mum's mad dream was coming to fruition. A holiday found by google, sold to us by Akin who took the trouble to explain everything turned out to be beyond the dreams of all of us. Canoeing in quiet coves, swimming and snorkelling to our hearts content then served with drinks and snacks before amazing meals and enjoying the trips between coves became the order of each day. " We went to Diamond Star experience because they offer multi-centre holidays and had good ratings. We were in no way disappointed with what was organised. We said that we wanted a few days in Athens and then a week on a relatively quiet island. Akin made a proposal (Athens then Naxos) and then, when we agreed, organised everything. The Athens hotel was central and accessible to the main sites and to restaurants, and was of very good quality. The choice of Naxos for the island was equally good and we stayed in an excellent three star hotel on the edge of the town within easy reach of the beach and restaurants. All transfers were efficiently organised and even when there was a transport hiccup (our fault!) there was a phone call from the Athens back-up team within the hour to find out what had happened.
