Day 1 - Istanbul: Welcome to Istanbul

Your journey begins in the vibrant city of Istanbul. After arriving, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can settle in and prepare for your upcoming adventure. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this fascinating city at your own pace. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 - Istanbul Old City:

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Istanbul's historic Old City. You'll visit iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Topkapi Palace, the awe-inspiring Hagia Irene, the stunning Blue Mosque, and the historic St Sophia Museum. Explore the ancient Hippodrome and immerse yourself in the rich history of this unique city that spans two continents. Overnight in Istanbul. (B)

Day 3 - Ankara, Cappadocia:

Today, you'll depart for Turkey's capital, Ankara, where you'll pay your respects at Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Mustafa Ataturk. Afterward, continue your journey to the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, known for its unique rock formations. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B, D)

Day 4 - Goreme Open-Air Museum, Pasabag, Uchisar:

Prepare for a day of exploration as you tour the Goreme Open-Air Museum, Pasabag, Uchisar Castle, and the fascinating Kaymakli Underground City. Keep your camera ready as photo opportunities abound. Gain insight into the art of carpet weaving at a local carpet village and learn what determines their value. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B, D)

Day 5 - Underground City, Konya:

Begin your day by visiting and exploring the Kaymakli Underground City. Leaving Cappadocia, you'll journey south along the ancient Silk Road, making a stop at the historic Sultanhani Caravansary, just as ancient traders did. In Konya, explore the Mevlana Museum and Alaeddin Mosque. Overnight in Konya. (B, D)

Day 6 - Sagalassos, Pamukkale:

Today, head to Pamukkale, renowned for its captivating calcium travertines. En route, visit the ancient site of Sagalassos, once conquered by Alexander the Great. Its ruins offer a glimpse into the past and are now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Pamukkale. (B, D)

Day 7 - Pamukkale:

Explore the enchanting ruins of Hierapolis, including the Temple of Apollo and Necropolis. Take a leisurely stroll over the stunning white calcium terraces of Pamukkale, a natural wonder. Later, enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods. Overnight in Kusadasi. (B, D)

Day 8 - Ephesus, Athens:

Immerse yourself in history with a guided tour of Ephesus, an ancient city with a rich past. Visit the Temple of Artemis and experience the mystique of the ancient city and its grand theater. Delve into the art of carpet weaving at a local carpet village. Following your Ephesus tour, you'll transfer to Izmir Airport for a flight to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, a transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Overnight in Athens. (B)

Day 9 - Welcome to Athens!

Upon your arrival at Athens International Airport, we'll meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to get a first taste of Athens. Explore Plaka, the oldest district of Athens, where you can experience the Greek capital as it was a century ago. Alternatively, indulge in some shopping at Kolonaki or Ermou and Voukourestiou streets. Overnight at your Athens hotel.

Day 10 - Athens Sightseeing Tour

After a hearty breakfast, set out on your Athens Sightseeing tour. This morning guided tour offers a glimpse into the captivating contrasts that define Athens. Your expert guide will lead you to the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue your journey, passing by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and Constitution Square (Syntagma).

Upon reaching the Acropolis, behold the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon, a monument that symbolizes harmony between material and spirit. Conclude your tour at the Acropolis Museum. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Athens.

Day 11 - Epidaurus – Nauplion - Mycenae - Olympia

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on your 4-day classical tour. Depart from Athens and journey along the coastal road to the Corinth Canal, where you'll make a short stop to admire the engineering marvel. Continue to the Theatre of Epidaurus, renowned for its exceptional acoustics.

Next, visit the charming town of Nauplion (photo stop) and proceed to Mycenae. Explore the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Continue your journey to Olympia, traveling through Central Peloponnese and passing through the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia, the historic birthplace of the Olympic Games.

Day 12 -  Olympia - Delphi

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel, then set off to explore Olympia. Visit the Archaeological Site, where you'll find the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. Continue your drive through the picturesque plains of Ilia and Achaia until you reach the magnificent bridge spanning the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion.

Pass through the scenic towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea on your way to Delphi. Overnight stay in Delphi.

Day 13 - Delphi - Kalambaka

Following breakfast, visit the Delphi Archaeological Site and Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, a charming town nestled at the base of the awe-inspiring Meteora rock formation. Overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 14 -: Meteora Monasteries & Athens

After breakfast, explore Meteora, where ageless Monasteries seem to defy gravity, perched atop immense rocks. Be sure to wear a skirt (ladies) or long trousers (gentlemen) for the Monastery visits. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae, where you can see Leonidas' Monument. Overnight at your Athens hotel.

Day 15 - One-Day Cruise to Saronic Islands

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the port for a one-day Cruise. Your first island destination is Hydra, a car-free paradise with cobblestone streets and unique beauty. Fall in love with its charming harbor town and have ample time to explore.

Next, cruise to Poros, a peaceful and verdant island known for its lovely beaches and fragrant lemon groves. The boat then heads to Aegina, famous for its pistachios, beautiful beaches, the Temple of Aphea, and St. Nektarios Monastery. You'll have about 2 hours to explore Aegina's treasures. Return to Athens in the early evening, enjoying the sunset and a Greek Folk Dance Show on the boat's Sun Deck. Transfer back to your Athens hotel for overnight.

Day 16 - Departure

After breakfast, we'll arrange your departure transfer to Athens International Airport for your outbound flight.
