Designed and run by celebrated Turkish interior designer Günsenin, (graduate of Chelsea School of Art London) this small and charming boutique property situated right on the sea front, has an abundance of character and charm.

An oasis in the midst of this lively and colourful resort, the Oyster Residence occupies an enviable position right on the promenade. Each room has been individually designed and tastefully decorated to a very high standard with beautiful, wooden shuttered doors that open out onto shady decked terraces, or charming French balconies on the upper floors.

The well-proportioned swimming pool is sheltered from the sun by clusters of mature olive trees. The hotel’s lounge and restaurant areas are also beautifully furnished, with the restaurant directly overlooking the beach; a truly idyllic spot from which to marvel at the steady stream of some paraglider attracts here.

A minibar and a TV are in each room at Oyster Residences. All rooms come with private modern bathrooms and are decorated in pastel colours. Some rooms include a private furnished terrace.

A range of à la carte dishes are served at Oyster’s restaurant. Guests can eat outside on the terrace or relax with a drink in the lounge.

Massage treatments are offered and guests can enjoy reading in the hotel’s private library.

The shops, bars and restaurants of bustling Ölüdeniz are literally on your doorstep.

Located on the ground floor, each room boasts a private decking area equipped with a Turkish-style sun lounge, a table with two chairs for alfresco dining or relaxation, and a luxurious shower/bath. With stone floors and a walk-in wardrobe, these rooms provide a stylish and functional accommodation option.

Oludeniz: Named after its famous lagoon, which translates literally as ‘dead sea’, the scenery of this resort is some of the most breath-taking in the whole of Turkey. High pine-clad mountains surround an idyllic bay with a long swathe of pale shingle and coarse sand leading to the protected National Park area of the lagoon with its sandy beach to one end. It is a spectacularly romantic setting, which could be why so many couples choose to get married here.

Ölüdeniz is also the perfect resort for a laid-back beach holiday and La Boutique Maya is an excellent accommodation choice. It is a popular resort with numerous lively bars, restaurants and shops alongside the seafront promenade but still retaining an individual charm.

"A week's trip on Perla del Mar captained by Mustafa, with chef Dohan, and crew Cem, Emre and Meric turned out to be the best family holiday we had ever booked. Akin's recommendation of the boat was spot on. Dohan's menu and cooking was absolutely excellent. The crew went out of their way to assist us at every opportunity and their care and attention to the children on the trip was exemplary. There wasn't a single fault that on the whole trip, the transfers worked perfectly, the crew were there to greet us at Marmaris and led us through the alleys to the waterside where the amazing boat in front of us was to be ours for a week. We were all taken aback and realised that Mum's mad dream was coming to fruition. A holiday found by google, sold to us by Akin who took the trouble to explain everything turned out to be beyond the dreams of all of us. Canoeing in quiet coves, swimming and snorkelling to our hearts content then served with drinks and snacks before amazing meals and enjoying the trips between coves became the order of each day. " We went to Diamond Star experience because they offer multi-centre holidays and had good ratings. We were in no way disappointed with what was organised. We said that we wanted a few days in Athens and then a week on a relatively quiet island. Akin made a proposal (Athens then Naxos) and then, when we agreed, organised everything. The Athens hotel was central and accessible to the main sites and to restaurants, and was of very good quality. The choice of Naxos for the island was equally good and we stayed in an excellent three star hotel on the edge of the town within easy reach of the beach and restaurants. All transfers were efficiently organised and even when there was a transport hiccup (our fault!) there was a phone call from the Athens back-up team within the hour to find out what had happened.
