This stylish boutique hotel is just a short ferry ride from Dubrovnik to the tranquil fishing island of Šipan. Hotel Božica enjoys a stunning seafront location and offers a warm welcome alongside superior accommodation.
Renowned for its friendly service, Hotel Božica is the perfect choice for a relaxing getaway. Guests can unwind in the peaceful atmosphere of the island while enjoying a range of modern amenities.
Perched on a hillside, the hotel’s terrace and pool boast breathtaking views over the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea, with the nearby islands of Lopud and Ruda, and the mainland, in the distance. A flight of steps leads down to spacious sunbathing terraces and a beach area with a mix of rock and pebbles. Sea kayaks and snorkelling equipment are available to hire (at an additional cost) for those looking to explore the coastline above and below the water.
The village centre—closed to vehicles during the summer—is just a short stroll along the seafront. Due to its intimate size and high popularity, we recommend booking Hotel Božica early to avoid disappointment.

Known as ‘the golden island’, Sipan is the largest of the Elafiti islands. It has a charming atmosphere with its quaint stone houses, grand mansions and ornate churches.
Sipan is the kind of place where your imagination can run riot - it is a fairytale island of olive groves, vineyards and abandoned monasteries and crumbling mansions.
During Ragusa’s golden age, it was popular as a summer retreat for the city’s wealthy merchants, many of whom built grand summer residences here. It is fascinating to wander amongst them now and wonder about their history and the people who once lived in them. These days there are fewer than 500 inhabitants of idyllic Sipan and the pace of life here is much more laid-back. It is a haven for holidaymakers who want to relax and get away from it all. There are two main centres on the island at opposite ends - Sudurad, where Hotel Bozica is located, and Sipanska Luka.
