Santorini Caldera

Private Half Day Tour by catamaran 15:30 - after sunset

Sail on a catamaran in Caldera to celebrate the famous Santorini sunset. Cruise the waters between Caldera and the small volcanic island, Thirasia, to the Red and White beaches, the hot springs, past the volcano and, finally, enjoy the sunset from the boat as your BBQ lunch or dinner is freshly prepared.

During the cruise three to four stops for swimming. Our destinations are Port of Vlychada, Red beach, White beach, Black mountain, Light House, Hot Springs, dinner stop, return to the port of Vlychada.

Our full menu: traditional Greek salad, tzatziki, shrimps-fillet, spaghetti with tomato sauce, cold soft drinks, Greek beer & local white wine.

Santorini Wine Roads

Private Extended Half Day Tour 6 hours

This journey promises to reward all your senses with exquisite tastes and surprises. You will be introduced to the best of Santorini, showcasing the depth of the food and wine culture in Greece. The skilled wine producers will provide you with the knowledge you need to appreciate a series of award-winning wines.

The tour starts from your hotel driving towards Pyrgos village, where you will enjoy a short stop to stroll around and explore this traditional village.

Then proceed for visit a local winery in Megalochori for a tour and introduction to the local wines followed by a wine tasting of 3 local wines as well as screening of informative film & guided tour to the winery served with local cheese, small barley rusks & tomato or small cherry tomatoes from Santorini. Then depart for the traditional settlement of Oia which is located on the northern tip of the island, high on the cliff top. Oia hosts the most magnificent views on Santorini and a picturesque road with cliffs on one side and sea on the other leads to this attractive town. Walk around and discover the typical Santorinian architecture with houses sunk deep into the volcanic soil, their whitewashed walls and blue domes sparkling under the sunlight.

Foody Walking Tour - Mykonos

In about 3 hours not only you will be shown the famous monuments but also you will be given the opportunity to discover some of the “hidden gems” of the Chora of Mykonos. Pastry shops, workshops, 17th century hidden underground bakery are only some of the places you will visit during this tour, while your Tour Guide will be shedding light on how all these shops affected the islands trading life from the beginning of the 19th century up to now. Needless to say that you will of course visit the highlights of the Chora, such as the windmills, or the famous Paraportiani chappel right on where the ancient fortifications of the town of Mykonos were standing in the past.

What to do in Santorini

This beautiful island is famous for its spectacular scenery, its magnificent sunsets and its fascinating history.

Visit Akrotiri

Stop off at the island’s highest peak at 567 metres to enjoy striking views, before continuing to the traditional village of Megalochori for a walking tour. Follow this with a guided tour of the archaeological site of Akrotiri, guided by a professional English-speaking guide. Known as the ‘pre-historic Pompeii’ this perfectly preserved settlement was buried under volcanic ash in the 17th century BC. Continue to the red beach, named after its distinctive sand, and then on to the black sand beach of Perivolos, with time for lunch and a swim. In the afternoon visit the Oenotourism centre to taste the renowned locally-made Santo wines.

Enjoy a boat tour on a traditional caique

Cruise to see the Volcano & Caldera, Hot Springs, Thirassia & Oia Sail from the Old Port of Fira to the island of Nea Kameni to climb to the top of the Santorini volcano, see the active crater and walk on its rims. Next stop is Palia Kameni, where you can swim in the hot springs created thousands of years ago by the underwater power of the volcano. Sail to Thirasia Island, where you can swim in the crystalline waters or visit the village of Manolas on the top of Thirasia’s caldera. The last stop of the cruise is the small port of Oia where you can visit the village and enjoy the famous sunset.

Enjoy the Sunset at Oia

Oia is well known for its breath-taking sunsets, and is one of the most photographed places in Greece. It has inspired artists and poets amongst other visitors to the island. The beauty of Oia is unsurpassed. Small white cave houses dug into the volcanic rock, interspersed by splashes of rich ochre, deep fuchsia, cobalt blue, oyster pink and earthy red.

"A week's trip on Perla del Mar captained by Mustafa, with chef Dohan, and crew Cem, Emre and Meric turned out to be the best family holiday we had ever booked. Akin's recommendation of the boat was spot on. Dohan's menu and cooking was absolutely excellent. The crew went out of their way to assist us at every opportunity and their care and attention to the children on the trip was exemplary. There wasn't a single fault that on the whole trip, the transfers worked perfectly, the crew were there to greet us at Marmaris and led us through the alleys to the waterside where the amazing boat in front of us was to be ours for a week. We were all taken aback and realised that Mum's mad dream was coming to fruition. A holiday found by google, sold to us by Akin who took the trouble to explain everything turned out to be beyond the dreams of all of us. Canoeing in quiet coves, swimming and snorkelling to our hearts content then served with drinks and snacks before amazing meals and enjoying the trips between coves became the order of each day. " We went to Diamond Star experience because they offer multi-centre holidays and had good ratings. We were in no way disappointed with what was organised. We said that we wanted a few days in Athens and then a week on a relatively quiet island. Akin made a proposal (Athens then Naxos) and then, when we agreed, organised everything. The Athens hotel was central and accessible to the main sites and to restaurants, and was of very good quality. The choice of Naxos for the island was equally good and we stayed in an excellent three star hotel on the edge of the town within easy reach of the beach and restaurants. All transfers were efficiently organised and even when there was a transport hiccup (our fault!) there was a phone call from the Athens back-up team within the hour to find out what had happened.
