Korcula is much quieter and more relaxed than Dubrovnik and equally impressive, albeit in its own, more low-key fashion. Soak up the atmosphere and the history of both, knowing that a swim in the clear waters of the Adriatic is never far away.
Dubrovnik is sure to take your breath away - the pale stone of the ancient city walls and ornate pires stretching above the red roofs, surrounded by the sparkling waters of the Adriatic. It is no surprise that it is known as ‘the pearl of the Adriatic’
Oposide of Korcula is mainland of Orebic.Orebic is set on the Peljesac peninsula, which is only just over 1 mile across the water from Korcula. Apart from the easy ferry connection to Korcula, its main attraction is its sand and pebble beaches. The peninsula is only connected to the mainland by a tiny strip of land, and it is famous for its dramatic, arid landscape, punctuated by palms and cacti, where the vines which make its famous local wine are grown.

There are plenty of pleasant walks in the area, including the steep hike uphill to the Franciscan Monastery, which dates back to the 15th century. From this vantage point, some 150 metres above sea level, you can enjoy fantastic views over Korcula town. Serious ramblers might want to go even further up to the summit of Mount St. Ilija.
Transfers will be a car transfer and a sea transfer. This may be by ferry or catamaran and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Hotel Uvala

A friendly hotel in a convenient location with great views, this attractive hotel is set on the Lapad peninsula, close to the sea and within a short bus ride of Dubrovnik’s fascinating old town.

Marko Polo Hotel

This attractive hotel sits on the hillside, surveying the bay of Korcula, benefitting from stunning views, yet only a short, pleasant stroll away from the old town.

Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is sure to take your breath away - the pale stone of the ancient city walls and ornate pires stretching above the red roofs, surrounded by the sparkling waters of the Adriatic.

Korucla

The tiny Island of Korcula entices sun-seekers with its attractive beaches, beautifully preserved medieval town and crystal-clear waters.
