The Dome Hotel is the longest established hotel in North Cyprus and offers the authentic atmosphere of by-gone days. The buildings that now line the harbour are mostly restaurants, with outdoor tables and chairs to make the most of the stunning sea views but were once filled with countryside fruits awaiting exportation. The spectacular castle at the east end of the harbour is popular with locals and tourists alike and definitely worth a visit. Within its walls is a 12th century chapel and a shipwreck museum.
