Ionian Private Gulet Cruise: Corfu – Sivota – Parga – Antipaxos – Paxos – Corfu

This Ionian sailing itinerary is designed exclusively for private hire, meaning your group enjoys the entire gulet and crew to yourselves. Unlike a cabin charter, there are no shared guests onboard — offering complete privacy, flexibility and the freedom to shape each day at your own pace. Swim stops, time ashore and evening arrangements can be tailored in consultation with your captain, always subject to weather and sea conditions. This is a relaxed and authentic sailing experience, focused on beautiful anchorages, traditional harbour towns and the natural charm of the Ionian coastline rather than luxury cruising.

Day 1: Corfu – Embarkation

Your private charter begins in Corfu, with embarkation at 17:00 from Corfu Old Port. Before boarding, you may wish to explore the UNESCO-listed Old Town, wander through its narrow Venetian streets, or enjoy a coffee in one of the lively squares. Once onboard and settled into your cabins, we may set sail towards a nearby anchorage such as Plataria, weather and arrival times permitting. Otherwise, your first evening can be enjoyed in Corfu with dinner ashore or onboard. Please note: If arrival times or weather conditions require, the first night may be spent in port, with departure scheduled for the following morning.

Day 2: Corfu – Sivota – Mourtos

We cruise south towards the Sivota–Mourtos islands along the mainland coast. This area is known for its lush green hills, olive groves and clear turquoise waters — a striking contrast to the typical rocky landscapes found elsewhere in Greece. We anchor in beautiful bays such as the Blue Lagoon and may visit sea caves including Papanikolis Cave. In the evening, you can stroll through a small marina village and enjoy dinner at a traditional seaside taverna. Optional experience available upon request: Plataria olive oil tasting.

Day 3: Sivota – Parga

Today we sail towards Parga, one of the most picturesque towns along the Ionian coast. Colourful houses climb the hillside beneath a Venetian castle overlooking the harbour. You may spend the afternoon exploring the castle for panoramic views, relaxing at a nearby beach or wandering through the charming streets filled with small shops and cafés. Due to limited harbour space, access to shore may occasionally be by local water taxi (payable locally). Optional experience available upon request: Parga wine tasting.

Day 4: Parga – Antipaxos

We continue towards Antipaxos, a small island celebrated for its striking turquoise waters and white pebble beaches. We anchor in secluded bays such as Voutoumi or Vrika, ideal for swimming, snorkelling or simply relaxing on deck. This is a day focused on enjoying the sea and the peaceful surroundings. The evening may be spent at anchor beneath the stars or in a quiet harbour nearby, depending on conditions.

Day 5: Antipaxos – Paxos (Gaios)

We arrive at Paxos, docking in the charming harbour of Gaios. Known for its olive groves and relaxed atmosphere, Paxos offers the perfect setting to explore at your own pace. You may wander along the waterfront promenade, hire bicycles, visit nearby coves or dine at one of the traditional tavernas serving fresh seafood and local specialities. Optional experience available upon request: Paxos island bus tour.

Day 6: Paxos – Lakka

Today we cruise north to Lakka, located in a sheltered bay at the tip of Paxos. With its calm waters, sea caves and scenic surroundings, this area is ideal for swimming and exploring. Rather than docking in the marina, we typically anchor in a nearby secluded cove, offering a peaceful overnight setting. You may choose to visit the village by tender or simply enjoy a quiet evening onboard.

Day 7: Lakka – Corfu

We sail back towards Corfu, enjoying a final swim stop along the way. Upon arrival in Corfu Old Port, you will have time to further explore the Old and New Town areas, visit the Venetian fortress, or shop for local products. Your final evening can be enjoyed ashore at a traditional restaurant or onboard with a farewell Captain’s Dinner, marking the end of your private Ionian sailing experience. Optional experience available upon request: Greek Night in Corfu.

Day 8: Corfu – Departure

After breakfast, disembarkation takes place in Corfu. Your private Ionian cruise concludes, leaving you with memories of emerald coastlines, quiet anchorages and relaxed evenings by the sea.

Cruise & Itinerary Notes

Cruise Type
This private charter operates on a standard traditional gulet with compact cabins and limited air conditioning availability. The emphasis is on an authentic sailing experience rather than luxury cruising.

Port Tax
An additional port tax of €150 per person is payable locally, usually in cash upon arrival.

Itinerary Flexibility
The planned itinerary is subject to change due to weather conditions, harbour availability or unforeseen circumstances. The captain has sole discretion in these matters, with safety always as the priority.

Overnight A/C Upgrade (£200 per night between 00:00 – 08:00)
For guests seeking additional comfort during warmer months, extended overnight air conditioning use is available as an optional upgrade.

Food & Drink

Cruise based on Half Board basis, freshly prepared Breakfast and Lunch included. You will enjoy local restaurants for your dinners, as you will be in different town every evening. Drinks are not included and payable on board.
