Bodrum – Hisarönü – Bodrum

This 8-day Blue Cruise along Turkey’s beautiful Aegean Coast begins and ends in Bodrum, offering a relaxed and well-balanced journey through the Gulf of Hisarönü. Life onboard your gulet is comfortable and easy, with air-conditioned cabins, en-suite bathrooms, inviting indoor and outdoor dining areas, and generous deck space for sunbathing and unwinding. The route explores some of the most appealing bays and coastal towns in the region. Along the way, you will swim in the clear waters of Palamutbükü, İnceburun, Aktur Bay, and Bencik Bay, stroll through the laid-back streets of Datça, and visit the atmospheric ruins of ancient Cnidus overlooking the sea. The itinerary also includes Kara Ada’s mineral-rich waters, the deep blue Meteor Hole, and Poyraz Bay, well known for its excellent snorkeling and marine life. With an experienced crew taking care of daily arrangements, freshly prepared meals, and optional water activities, this gulet cruise offers a wonderful balance of relaxation, gentle exploration, and time at sea. Day 1 – Bodrum

Bodrum is a lively coastal town where history, culture, and the sea come together, making it an ideal starting point for your cruise. Boarding begins at 16:00. Guests may wish to spend time exploring Bodrum’s highlights, including the ancient amphitheatre and the Castle of St Peter, which houses the renowned Museum of Underwater Archaeology. After settling into your cabin, dinner is served onboard. Depending on sea conditions, the gulet will anchor overnight in a quiet bay around Kara Ada or Orak Island. Included meals: Dinner

Day 2 – Palamutbükü – İnceburun

After breakfast, we cruise towards Palamutbükü, enjoying views of the rugged coastline and taking refreshing swim breaks along the way. This bay is known for its clear water and relaxed atmosphere. In the afternoon, we continue to İnceburun, where we anchor for the night and enjoy a peaceful sunset over the sea. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Afternoon Tea, Fruit Service

Day 3 – Aktur Bay – Bencik Bay

Following breakfast, we sail to Aktur Bay for swimming and relaxation in its turquoise waters before lunch onboard. In the afternoon, the gulet continues to Bencik Bay, located at the narrowest point of the peninsula separating the Hisarönü and Gökova Gulfs. Surrounded by pine-covered hills, this calm and sheltered bay is a perfect place to spend the night. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Afternoon Tea, Fruit Service

Day 4 – Orhaniye – Selimiye

We begin the day with a swim stop at Emel Sayın Bay before cruising to Orhaniye for lunch. Here, you can visit the famous Kız Kumu (Maiden’s Beach), a natural sand path that allows you to walk into the shallow sea. In the evening, we anchor in Selimiye, a charming coastal village known for its relaxed atmosphere, scenic waterfront, and excellent local restaurants. Day 5 – Dirsekbükü – Datça

After a leisurely breakfast and morning swim, we head to Dirsekbükü, a peaceful bay ideal for unwinding in clear blue waters. In the late afternoon, we cruise towards Datça, a traditional harbour town set on a scenic peninsula, where we anchor for the evening. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Afternoon Tea, Fruit Service

Day 6 – Datça – Cnidus

This morning is spent in Datça, a town founded by the Dorians in the 7th century BC and known for its fresh air and gentle breeze. You may explore the town on foot or take a local dolmuş to Eski Datça, the old village, with its stone houses, narrow streets, cafés, and artisan shops. Later, we sail to Cnidus, an impressive ancient city set dramatically above the sea. Guests can walk among the ruins, enjoy the views, and soak up the atmosphere of this historic site before dinner and an overnight stay in the bay. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Afternoon Tea, Fruit Service

Day 7 – Kara Ada – Poyraz Bay – Bodrum

Early in the morning, we cruise to Kara Ada for a refreshing swim in its mineral-rich waters before continuing to Poyraz Bay for breakfast. Known for its clear water and underwater rock formations, this bay offers excellent snorkeling opportunities. Later, we move on to Meteor Bay, where confident swimmers may enjoy jumping into the deep waters of the famous Meteor Hole, approximately 30 metres deep, or explore a nearby underwater cave. In the evening, we return to Bodrum Harbour for a final dinner onboard and an overnight stay. Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Afternoon Tea, Fruit Service

Day 8 – Bodrum

After breakfast at around 09:00, it is time to disembark. Guests may transfer to Bodrum Airport or continue onward to their next destination. Included meals: Breakfast

"A week's trip on Perla del Mar captained by Mustafa, with chef Dohan, and crew Cem, Emre and Meric turned out to be the best family holiday we had ever booked. Akin's recommendation of the boat was spot on. Dohan's menu and cooking was absolutely excellent. The crew went out of their way to assist us at every opportunity and their care and attention to the children on the trip was exemplary. There wasn't a single fault that on the whole trip, the transfers worked perfectly, the crew were there to greet us at Marmaris and led us through the alleys to the waterside where the amazing boat in front of us was to be ours for a week. We were all taken aback and realised that Mum's mad dream was coming to fruition. A holiday found by google, sold to us by Akin who took the trouble to explain everything turned out to be beyond the dreams of all of us. Canoeing in quiet coves, swimming and snorkelling to our hearts content then served with drinks and snacks before amazing meals and enjoying the trips between coves became the order of each day. " We went to Diamond Star experience because they offer multi-centre holidays and had good ratings. We were in no way disappointed with what was organised. We said that we wanted a few days in Athens and then a week on a relatively quiet island. Akin made a proposal (Athens then Naxos) and then, when we agreed, organised everything. The Athens hotel was central and accessible to the main sites and to restaurants, and was of very good quality. The choice of Naxos for the island was equally good and we stayed in an excellent three star hotel on the edge of the town within easy reach of the beach and restaurants. All transfers were efficiently organised and even when there was a transport hiccup (our fault!) there was a phone call from the Athens back-up team within the hour to find out what had happened.
