The Antmare Story

Antmare has a particularly personal story behind it. Zafer İnan was originally the project manager responsible for the development of the hotel and became closely involved in every stage of its creation, from the construction itself to many of the smallest details within its 35 rooms.

After completing the project, Zafer returned to Istanbul, but his connection with Alaçatı remained. The peaceful surroundings, star-filled skies, traditional village atmosphere and relaxed Aegean lifestyle eventually drew him and his family back.

They decided to take over the running of Antmare themselves, transforming the hotel into a genuinely family-run property where guests are welcomed with the warmth and informality of a home.

Today, that family character remains an important part of Antmare's appeal, from the personal service to homemade bread and traditional dishes prepared by the family.
