Set on a peaceful side street in Ljubljana’s atmospheric old town, this hotel provides an oasis of calm, with superior accommodation. Once home to one of Ljubljana’s noble families, this 16th century building now houses a charming luxury hotel. Small and intimate it has just 18 rooms and suites.

The reception area is in the cool entrance hall, with eye-catching flower arrangements and antique furnishings. To one side is a cosy lounge, where guests can take complimentary tea or coffee or sample the local schnapps. To the rear is the beautiful courtyard, where guests can choose to take breakfast.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but food can be ordered in from many of the nearby restaurants. The intimate, opulent spa with sauna and steam bath must be booked and is available for private use only.

In the heart of the old town, 30 minutes’ transfer from Ljubljana Airport.

A charming city bursting with magnificent architecture, Ljubljana has a laid-back Mediterranean vibe. The captivating old town, overlooked by the enchanting castle is picturesque and atmospheric.
The riverside cafes are the perfect place to watch the world go by and simply soak up the atmosphere. The old town is a pedestrian zone, making it ideal for meandering walks, exploring the narrow streets and attractive piazzas. There are some excellent restaurants serving mouth-watering local Slovenian and Mediterranean specialities.
A few days in Ljubljana makes for the perfect city break. It’s small enough that you can explore it on foot without feeling overwhelmed. The river and pedestrian zone at its heart makes for an unhurried pace, ideal for unwinding and savouring the ambience and the captivating architecture.
